We are a for-purpose technology company devoted to the professionals who dedicate their careers to clinical practice. Our values reflect our deep commitment to building tools that serve practitioners with dignity, safety, and clarity.

OUR COMMITMENT TO CLINICAL PROFESSIONALS

We are building tools that eliminate non-value-adding tasks in the professional workflow—so that psychologists, therapists and counsellors can spend more time doing the work they trained for. Our software is designed to:

• Recoup time lost that you can't claim;
  
• Reduce cognitive load by automating administrative functions;
  
• Draft assessment reports, clinical notes, summaries, and letters; transcribe sessions; chat with case documents; and surface relevant patterns across a caseload;
  
• Streamline communication workflows so practitioners can stay organized between appointments.

We do this while always keeping the clinician in control and ensuring all outputs are subject to professional review. Data use is de-identified, and client data is never used to train AI models.

OUR COMMITMENT TO DATA PRIVACY AND END-USER PROTECTION

We believe every individual whose data passes through our software deserves a digital environment that is secure, respectful of their privacy, and transparent about how information is handled. Soma is designed not to diagnose or make clinical determinations, but to provide a structured, private space for engagement with professional services. Through our platform, the people behind the data are protected by:

• Automatic destruction of information as work moves through the platform, with override given to the clinician;
  
• Consent-based de-identification, with practitioner review and override;
  
• Functionality that preserves clinical opinion and keeps autonomy and clinical decision-making where it belongs.

We are committed to protecting user anonymity and upholding full transparency in how data is used, with all personal data fully anonymized. Data use is minimal. No data is used to train third-party AI models — of any kind, ever — and all AI processing is zero-retention: nothing is stored by an AI provider after the response is returned. Personal content is never used to train AI models.
